FAQs

How much does it cost?
It is 100% free to search for guests or add incidents to the database. Bad Guest Database may add additional premium services in the future
Why is this site necessary?
It’s very easy to get bad reviews removed from airbnb platform. It is also very easy to create a new account (using same phone number or name) when you already have bad reviews. Also if someone has a bad review on one platform, there is nothing from preventing them from booking on a different platforms
How do we ensure that the reports are accurate and that the site is not used as abuse/revenge?
You must be a verified host or verified in the hotel industry to post or search for any incidents. We check each account prior to activation to verify. All hosts must also have a verified email address and phone number before any incidents are added to the database. All reports are reviewed by moderators and must be well documented (with screenshots and other photographic evidence) before being accepted.
What if I am on the database in error or I wish to dispute what was said about me or opt-out of the database?
While we do not allow you to opt your name out of the database, if you wish to dispute an incident placed by a host, you may request an arbitration to appeal the incident. If you request an arbitration, Bad Guest Database will set a google meet meeting with an arbitrator, the host and the guest. The arbitrator will review all documentation from both parties and come to a final conclusion. The arbitrator may decide to allow the incident report to remain active, remove the incident report, or allow you to add a statement stating your side to the review.
How does Bad Guest Database protect user privacy?
The database is protected by SSL and industry standard privacy protections. In addition, there are several steps that we take to protect the privacy of guests who may have had their name added to the database. The ability to search is limited only to verified hosts. While hosts can search based on information they have (like full name, date of birth, address etc), the results will only show a match of the information they put in. For example if someone searches for John Doe and leaves either Date of birth, phone number or email address blank, and there is a result, any personal information on the guest not known by the searcher will remain redacted. Bad Guest Database does not share or sell its host list or incident lists to any third parties.
